Hi Jeff, Enjoyed the QSO on your repeater today. Here's the frequency for the traffic helicopter folks: 450.59 mhz The channel 5 chopper is 450.12 mhz. Sometimes those guys get kind of goofy when they are just talking to each other. It can get funny. Later Miles KM5BR

A Very interesting page you have here. I certainly appreciate the radio frequencies for the railroads. Quite a few of them that I didn't have. My hobby is chasing trains and photography so any frequencies that I come across gets written down for future reference. About three weeks ago I ran into a very intresting person. Iowa Blackie. A hobo who sells poetry and photography. You may run into him in your area, as he does get all over the country during the summer months. Thanks again for your page. Wapsie10.

I am operating from one of many computers available here in the library on Ft Hood. I have no e-mail address, yet. One of these days when I have my own set up I'll get one. I enjoy ham radio & am also a frustrated model railroader. About the only thing I do is run a train under the tree @ Chrsitmas time. No room nor time & money for much of anything else @ this time. 73, Spence

Just started on my home page...still under construction. Since I did not know any computer code, I've had to teach myself the HTML code as I go along. Lots to learn yet, and many features to incorporate into the finished product. I have been visiting ham web sites all day, to get ideas and to look at the source code to see how things are done. I have rated your site #3 out of all I have seen (the long load time dropped you from 1 to 3). Again, a great page with just the perfect music for it. 73, Bob K7QXG Aloha, Oregon

Hello Jeff, Very nice looking page. Really enjoyed it alot and well done.
My Grandfather work for the railroad and was killed in Gettysburg stopping traffic for the train when a truck lost his breaks and killed him. That was in the 1920's.
There's a picture of him on my web holding the stop sign right where it happen.
Anyways a job well done. 73 Jeff

I think your train page is great, I live in the coal minning part of Tn, and know about the old Southern and L&N that we use to have here, I was one of the youngest hobos in these parts, I would walk ten miles up track in order to ride coal train back to town, most of time my Dad would be waiting for me ,that was the good ole days, but my rear would be sore for awhile, there is RR blood in the family my # 2 son works for CSX.. he likes it very much, again your page is great..73Ray W4tzg

Hi, Jeff. Great page! I'm into trains, too. Found your page through a link from some other rail-related site. Will have to come here often to check out everything.

Nice story and excellent links to other sites. I live adjacent to the CSX mainline between Atlanta and Athens, Ga. We average about 12 freights a day, and enjoy the action since the extra-long siding is along this stretch near Auburn, GA. I'm a model fan too, but presently have no active layout. Have you any tips on getting a real cab ride? I have always wanted to find a way to make that happen. E-mail with any ideas. 73 de KD4PIQ.
